My fellow Dems: if you want people to vote for you, stop calling millions of Americans dogs—only dogs respond to “dog whistles”. Stop trying to divide us by the color of our skin. End your open-border policy. Treat us all with the respect we deserve as Americans & God’s children.

Gabbard elaborated on her message in a recent Fox News interview with host Sean Hannity. “They think that we’re just stupid. We saw this in the excuses that were laid out when McAuliffe lost in Virginia. They said Youngkin won because he sounded his dog whistle and all the dogs came out and voted. It revealed what they really think of us.”
