VIDEO: County Democrat Objects to Moment of Silence for Victims of Hamas Terrorism

“Fairfax County School Board member Abrar Omeish — who in September 2021 opposed a resolution honoring the victims of the 9/11 attacks — opposed a moment of silence for victims of the Hamas attacks,” the Daily Wire reported on Friday.

Following the murder of innocent civilians — including women and children — in Israel, Fairfax Democrat Omeish invoked the slogan, “no justice, no peace.”

Since her election to the Fairfax County School Board in 2019, Omeish’s divisive, extreme rhetoric has generated local, national, and international headlines.

Since her election to the Fairfax County School Board in 2019, Omeish’s divisive, extreme rhetoric has generated local, national, and international headlines. The Fairfax GOP has consistently denounced Omeish’s bigotry and intolerance during her tenure on the board.

“Instead of focusing on core educational issues, Abrar Omeish is busy fomenting hatred and division,” Fairfax GOP Chairman Steve Knotts said back in May 2021. “Fairfax County deserves better. Omeish should resign or be removed from the school board.”
