Falls Church Memorial Day Parade
On Monday, over 70 supporters in red, white, and blue T-shirts marched with Winsome Sears in the Falls Church Memorial Day Parade. She moved energetically from one side of the street to the other, passing out flags and candy to children and chatting with voters. Thousands of people came out to watch the parade, and there were many thumbs up, claps, and cheers for the Lieutenant Governor. It was pretty amazing, considering the City of Falls Church isn’t just blue – it’s NAVY! Winsome was super energized by the response and gave volunteers a great pep talk at the end of the parade.
Viva Vienna Festival
The Lt. Governor started her busy Memorial Day with a stop at the Viva Vienna Festival, a 3-day event in Vienna that brings out many thousands of people from across Fairfax County and beyond. Wonderful volunteers worked the Fairfax GOP table all weekend. While there, Winsome spent time engaging with visitors at her booth, as well as at the Fairfax GOP table.
