LISTEN: Elizabeth Schultz on County Schools (Not) Reopening

Former school board member Elizabeth Schultz (R-Springfield) was on WMAL’s Mornings on the Mall radio program Wednesday morning, to discuss Fairfax County’s plans for the 2020-2021 academic year.

“We’re really talking about the schools not reopening,” Ms. Schultz lamented. “It’s really a disaster for students.”

Mornings on the Mall guest host Lt. Col. Tony Schaffer, himself a Fairfax County resident, said he was “appalled” by the school district’s failure to educate students remotely this year, adding that he is now considering alternatives for his own child.
