Indira Massey: A New Voice for Hunter Mill

Indira Massey — immigrant, wife, entrepreneur, and volunteer — is the GOP nominee for the Hunter Mill seat on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Born in the Soviet Union, Massey understands — and deeply cherishes — the value of human freedom.

As an entrepreneur, Massey has experience in the advertising and publishing worlds. In her volunteer roles, Massey has assisted with international charitable efforts; in 2013 she founded the WE Foundation, a nonprofit focused on children’s safety and welfare. Currently, Massey enjoys doing volunteer work for the county animal shelter.

A tireless candidate, Massey is frequently seen at events across Hunter Mill or going door-to-door meeting voters. Massey vows to maintain this same level of drive and commitment if elected. “I will work hard for the people of Hunter Mill and aim to deliver solutions to Fairfax County that prioritize the values and interests of my constituents,” the candidate says.

At her website, IndiraForVA.com, Massey shares her top priorities with fellow Hunter Mill residents:

  • PUBLIC SAFETY: “I believe that law enforcement officers are the heroes of our local community. We should be empowering these professionals to enforce existing laws and protect our families. Supporting our police goes beyond funding. We can help law enforcement by encouraging and restoring trust in our police officers.”
  • NO TAX INCREASES: “I pledge to staunchly oppose any efforts that seek to increase taxes. I will always advocate for and support sensible measures that stress the importance of smarter spending and fiscal responsibility.”
  • LIMITED & BALANCED GOVERNMENT: “Government should be limited in size and in power. It is with this consideration that I will combat any measures that seek to further expand the role of government in our daily lives. I am committed to bringing common sense solutions that will benefit all and place a check on government overreach.”
