Ronald Wilson Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, was born on this day in 1911. As President, he cut taxes, tamed inflation, and ushered in a new era of prosperity. He rebuilt our nation’s military and, as Margaret Thatcher famously put it, “won the Cold War without firing a shot.”
The Heritage Foundation released a fitting video tribute to Mr. Reagan today, noting that his “legacy still lives, and America and the world are better because of it.”
