Disturbing News Again, About FCPS

The Fairfax Times published a report by Asra Nomani detailing a long-running legal case that will finally go to trial next week.

‘A young woman, 24, says Fairfax County Public Schools officials ignored her pleas for help 12 years ago when classmates sexually harassed her as a seventh grader at Rachel Carson Middle School, and she finally gets her day in court next week for a jury trial in federal court in Alexandria. On her side, she will have high-powered attorneys from a law firm that won settlements from Prince Andrew, JPMorgan, and Deutsche Bank for victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.’ Read the full story in the Fairfax Times, linked here.

Parents Can Opt Out Of Holocaust Lesson:

In another shocking story, FCPS’s Cooper Middle School is allowing parents to “opt out” their students from attending a presentation on the Holocaust. The Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak reported on the school’s letter to parents about the lesson, and also points out that FCPS’s position on this issue seem contradictory when compared to parents’ attempts to have their children skip presentations on other topics.
