We Need You in November — Fairfax GOP Needs 1,000 Republican Election Officers

A polling place on Election Day

As Republicans, the integrity of our elections is of paramount importance. With Democrats in control of the General Assembly and the Governor’s Mansion, there is nothing we can do to change existing election laws, like the dreadful 45 days of early voting.

However, the one thing we can do is serve as Republican Election Officers in November.

Parity at the Polls

The goal in every election is parity — having an equal number of Republican and Democrat Election Officers. In the April redistricting election, Republicans in Fairfax County filled only HALF of our allotted positions for Election Officers — 553 out of 1,067 possible slots. In the August 4th Primary last week, there were 557 Republican Election Officers out of 787 possible positions. That means the Democrats filled OUR slots with THEIR people. Not good.

For the November 3rd election, we need approximately 1,000 Republican Election Officers — double what we had in both the April and August elections. C’mon, people! The Fairfax GOP and Fairfax County Office of Elections need committed patriots to sign up to be Election Officers in November. YES, it’s a long day, but this is the one thing we can all do to ensure the security and transparency of our voting process on Election Day.
