Winsome Earle-Sears Releases New Ad “Trigger” Airing Statewide Across All Virginia Markets

RICHMOND, VA — The Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor campaign today released a new statewide ad titled “Trigger.” The ad challenges Abigail Spanberger for refusing to answer one of the most serious questions of this race:

“What would it take for you to ask Jay Jones to drop out of the race? Would he have to pull the trigger? What if it were your three children?”

The ad captures a defining moment in the campaign when Abigail Spanberger was given several opportunities to speak out against the violent rhetoric of her running mate, Jay Jones. Each time, she refused.

The 30-second ad will air across every major television and digital market in Virginia, including Richmond, Hampton Roads, Roanoke, Charlottesville, Northern Virginia, and Bristol.

The ad closes with: “Abigail Spanberger… Her silence says it all.”
