They caught my friend Mike’s carjackers. Then they let them go.
In 2021, my long time friend and colleague Mike Waller was brutally attacked and carjacked in Washington DC. The perpetrators were caught red-handed. Case closed, right? Wrong. They were never prosecuted. Never even tried. Mike’s story never made the news—just another victim lost in the statistics.
But those statistics tell a terrifying story:
DC Carjackings Have Exploded 531% Since 2019:
This isn’t just numbers. DC is right down the street. These are neighbors. Friends. Maybe next time, you.
What’s happening in DC has infected Fairfax County, where a dangerous experiment is underway: What if we just… stopped prosecuting criminals?
The results are exactly what you’d expect:
80+ illegal “massage parlors” operate openly. Police have given up making arrests because Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano refuses to prosecute. These brothels operate with impunity while law enforcement watches helplessly.
Sexual predators roam free. Richard Cox, a repeat sex offender, was repeatedly allowed into women’s locker rooms at public pools. No prosecution.
Drug dealers operate next door. A Fairfax resident contacted me desperate for help—drugs were being dealt in the apartment next to his family. Police apologized but explained arrests were pointless. Under Descano, dealers walk free.
Child abductors get 30+ chances. The man caught on camera abducting a three-year-old at Fair Oaks Mall? He had more than 30 prior criminal cases. Still not prosecuted.
The latest bombshell: A Fairfax County Public School social worker allegedly took two minors for abortions—without parental consent, using school funds. Both actions violate the law and school policy.
The school board’s response? Silence. This explosive issue isn’t even on Thursday’s agenda. All 12 Democratic board members apparently see nothing worth discussing.
Every unprosecuted crime emboldens the next criminal. Every silent school board meeting betrays another family. Every election we sit out hands more power to those who’ve abandoned their duty to protect us.
But we can stop this—starting now:
1. VOTE—Early Voting Expands Tomorrow End the Democrats’ 17-year stranglehold on District 11. Vote for Stewart Whitson.
2. VOLUNTEER—Your Voice Matters Help distribute Parents’ Rights information at Back to School Nights. Our children deserve advocates.
3. SPEAK OUT Share this message. Tell Mike’s story. Tell your story. Silence is what they’re counting on.
The criminals aren’t hiding anymore. They don’t have to. In Fairfax County, accountability has become optional—unless we make it mandatory again.
The choice is simple: Accept lawlessness as the new normal, or fight back at the ballot box.
Which will you choose?
