This Saturday, April 11th through Saturday, April 18th, there are 13 early voting satellites opening across Fairfax County, in addition to the 3 Early Voting locations that have been open since March 6th. Check here for locations and times: https://fairfaxgop.org/voter-info/
If Governor Spanberger’s redistricting amendment passes on April 21st, Virginia will be the most gerrymandered state in the nation. About 45% of Virginia’s voters are Republican, so the current map of 6 Democrat and 5 Republican Congressional seats is fair. The proposed map would result in 10 Democrat and 1 Republican seat, which means about 91% of Virginia’s voters would be disenfranchised and essentially silenced. We must VOTE NO to stop this from happening.
Do you have a college student who can’t vote in person during Early Voting or on April 21st? If so, the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is this Friday, April 10th at 5 PM. If you have a college student or someone in your family who won’t be able to vote in person, please have them apply for an absentee ballot here: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation/Lookup/absentee.
Saturday is supposed to be beautiful, which makes it a perfect day to swing by your nearest voting location to vote. While you’re there, you can also pick up a VOTE NO yard sign.
The outcome of this Special Election is critical to the future of Virginia, so please VOTE and urge your like-minded friends and neighbors to do the same. We simply cannot afford to lose on April 21st!
