Take Me To The Volunteer Form

You can volunteer in so many ways to help grow the Republican party in Fairfax. There’s a volunteer job (or two) here for everyone, and we appreciate all the help we can get. We’re developing new data tools, new collaborative software, and a refurbished headquarters office – to make volunteering enjoyable and effective.  Please complete the online volunteer form , call our office at 703-766-4GOP (4467), or email us at volunteer@fairfaxgop.org.

Be a Precinct Volunteer

There are 244 precincts in Fairfax County and we still have openings in many of them for Precinct Captains, as well as openings for precinct volunteers to reach out to our voters with door-to-door appeals to support our Republican candidates and issues. Not sure what precinct you’re in? Just visit Find Your Polling Place in the FCRC Voter Toolkit. We provide in-depth training and the right tools for Precinct work. This job is essential to our rebuilding the Republican party in Fairfax – give it a try!

 Be an Election Officer

One of the goals the Fairfax County Republican Committee sets for ourselves each November is to have each and every polling station covered by volunteers from the moment the polls open until the last vote is cast.  Election Officers play the central role in keeping our elections fair. In Fairfax County, these officers open the voting polls, run the polls during the election, ensuring fairness in the voting procedures, and then close the polls at the end of the day. Election officers are paid for the day’s work as employees of Fairfax County.

Please go to the Fairfax County Election Officer site HERE, fill out the form to apply as an election officer –  and make sure to let them know you’re a Republican!

For detailed information on being an election officer, visit the Fairfax County Office of Elections “Working at the Polls” page.
