VIDEO: Merle Rutledge Talks with Fairfax GOP

Gubernatorial candidate Merle Rutledge joined the Fairfax GOP live on Facebook last week for a robust discussion of the issues facing Virginia. Rutledge discussed his candidacy and his vision of conservative reform with the Fairfax GOP’s Vinson Palathingal and Srilekha Palle.

One of Rutledge’s biggest goals is tax reform, the candidate said. Noting the devastating impact of COVID on Virginia businesses, Rutledge called for a 15 percent tax cut — and a “zero percent state tax” for startups.
