VIDEO: Karina Lipsman (VA-08) on Parents’ Rights & Education Reform

8th District GOP Congressional Nominee Karina Lipsman outlines her bold education reform agenda:

“Education is near and dear to my heart. Having gone through the Baltimore Public School system, I understand the value of education. We must hold teachers accountable and protect parents’ rights. We must have transparency of what happens in the hallways, and what is being taught in the classroom.

“As your congresswoman, I will never support legislation that handcuffs parents’ rights. I’m a supporter of school choice, as parents know what’s best for their children. I also understand that my education path is not for everyone. A four-year degree should not be a prerequisite for employment in this country.

“As your congresswoman, I will support community colleges, technical and vocational programs, to ensure that students that choose that path have high-paying quality jobs.”
