The Virginia Senate Privileges & Elections Committee will be considering SB 1101; if enacted, the bill would enter Virginia into the National Popular Vote Compact. This would force Virginia to award its 13 electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the national popular vote — even if that candidate loses in Virginia.
