April 24 Deadline to request an Absentee ballot by mail for May 1 Election

The deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you for the May 1, 2018 General and Special Election is Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Your request must be received by your Registrar (the Fairfax County Office of Elections) by 5:00 p.m.

Deadline to request an absentee ballot by appearing in-person is 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018.

The Fairfax County Office of Elections provides detailed information on obtaining absentee ballots, where to mail them, and where to appear in person to submit the ballot in Fairfax County.
