Thomas Oh Hosts Cookout for Local Northern Virginians

Thomas Oh Cookout
On Saturday, July 28th, 2018, Thomas Oh’s campaign hosted his first official cookout for local Northern Virginians at Mason District Park located in Annandale, Virginia. The meet and greet session was open to the public. Voters had an opportunity to meet the Congressional Candidate, voice their concerns, or ask general questions. Over 50 Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and undecided voters attended the event.

Thomas Oh is the Republican Nominee running for United States Congress in Virginia’s 8th Congressional District, for the upcoming election on November 6th. The 8th district includes Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria, Franconia, Springfield, Burke, Lorton, Mount Vernon, McLean, and Annandale. The 26-year old Korean American returned home to Northern Virginia after being honorably discharged from Active Duty Army in 2017 and now serves in the Army Reserve. Thomas Oh is an Army Airborne Ranger hoping to be a voice for Veterans, minorities, immigrants, the elderly, millennials, and all Americans. Oh is fighting to finally change Congress for better solutions, and promises to always put the people before politics.
.
When Thomas Oh was asked why he decided to run for Congress, he stated, “It’s obvious that there is a problem in American politics. The career politicians do not work for us. We deserve a leader that represents us. We need to elect a Congress that works for everyday Americans and not their political parties, personal ego, lobbyists, or big corporations. I am running to change Congress and we will change Congress, through this memorable fight”.
