Volunteer Opportunity – Placing Flags for Independence Day
Here is a great opportunity to work alongside Delegate Hugo’s office to prepare for the Independence Day celebration in the 40th District. Please see Delegate Hugo’s request for volunteers below.
Dear Friends,
On July 3rd, my office will once again be placing American flags throughout the 40th District to celebrate Independence Day. This will be our 15th year doing this and a great opportunity for those looking to volunteer.
Sign up to volunteer HERE.
On July 3rd, we will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Centreville Elementary School (directions here) where we will divide into teams and start flagging. We expect to finish early afternoon, and afterwards, we invite you to join us for lunch.
This is a huge effort and we can use all the help we can get, so if you would like to volunteer please let us know. Thank you to everyone who has already offered to help!
If you are available to help on July 3rd, use the link above to sign up or contact Dean Goodson at dean.goodson@timhugo.com or (703) 815-1201.
Regards,
Tim
