Scores of parents rallied Thursday night outside Luther Jackson Middle School, where the Fairfax County School Board held a meeting. Their stated cause was to “eliminate porn” from county schools, following a local mother’s bombshell revelations about “X-rated” materials in public, government-run school libraries.
County parents in attendance made clear they would not be intimidated by Attorney General Merrick Garland’s insinuations that critics of rogue school boards are “domestic terrorists.” Some held signs that read: “FBI vs MOMS? REALLY?”
Local parent-activist Asra Nomani joined WMAL’s O’Connor and Company Friday morning, to discuss Thursday night’s rally and the ongoing failures of government-run schools. “We are literally standing up for kids,” Nomani said.
