NoVA Reps Vote NO On Deportation Bill

On Thursday, 150 Democrat members of the House of Representatives voted against making DUI charges a deportable offense for illegal immigrants. This shameful vote included Fairfax County Congressional Representatives Don Beyer (8th District), Jennifer Wexton (10th District), and Gerry Connolly (11th District). Our elected officials are supposed to prioritize the well-being of American citizens first, rather than protecting criminals.

Beyer and Connolly are up for re-election this year, while Jennifer Wexton has announced her retirement due to health reasons. Call their offices and let them know how you feel!

Bacon’s Rebellion contributor Kerry Dougherty detailed their actions – Five Far-Left Virginia Democrats Vote Not to Deport Illegals With DUIs. Despite a majority of Democrats voting against the bill, the legislation did pass. For more on the story, read The Daily Caller’s article.
