Fairfax County is now the center of a national media firestorm—and the story is devastating.
Fox News, the Daily Caller, Townhall, the New York Post, and newsrooms across the country are covering what happened right here in our community: a 19-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, Israel Flores Ortiz, groped at least a dozen girls—some as young as 13—in the hallways of Fairfax High School for months. This isn’t some abstract policy debate. This happened in OUR schools, to OUR children—and the national media is exposing exactly how Fairfax County’s Democrat officials responded:
Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano’s office agreed to release Ortiz on bail after he was charged with assaulting a dozen minor girls. Only Judge Dipti Pidikiti-Smith stopped it, ruling the bail request didn’t adequately protect the public. Bacon’s Rebellion
Sheriff Stacey Kincaid refuses to honor ICE’s detainer. ICE told reporters that the Fairfax County Sheriff is not honoring that detainer WJLA—meaning this predator won’t be handed over for deportation even if released.
Fairfax County Public Schools waited over two weeks to notify parents, and the school’s email downplayed the assaults as merely “touching students’ buttocks while they were transitioning in the hallways.” WJLA Parents say they were told Ortiz could return to school if released from custody.
Governor Abigail Spanberger made ending ICE cooperation her first act as Governor—creating the sanctuary environment that shields predators from deportation.
An ICE spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, sanctuary politicians like Gov. Spanberger are outlawing cooperation with ICE and choosing to RELEASE criminal illegal aliens from their jails back onto their communities to create more American victims.” WJLA
The whole country is watching Fairfax County. They’re seeing what happens when Democrat politicians prioritize illegal immigrants over children’s safety. And these same Democrats want to rig redistricting so common-sense Virginians can never vote them out.
Vote NO on the redistricting referendum on April 21. Volunteer to spread the word.
