Meet Samuel “Dutch” Hillenburg

Get to know our great nominee for Virginia Senate in District 39: Samuel “Dutch” Hillenburg.

A disabled veteran and retired federal employee, Dutch lives in the 39th District with his wife, Elena, and their son, Daniel.

Elena is a naturalized U.S. citizen and currently works for the federal government. Daniel, 16 years old, is a future Eagle Scout who served as a page for the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017.

According to his website, “Dutch is running to bring back common sense into a political system which seems to be less about serving the citizens and more about appealing to social activists.”
