Adam Wise describes himself simply: “a regular person, just minding my own business.” But in 2008, something changed. Watching President Bush consider bank bailouts, Wise thought, “We learned about this in economics class. You’re not supposed to do that.” When the bailouts happened anyway—and Barack Obama promised government healthcare—Wise knew America was heading in the wrong direction.
So he did something about it. For 16 years, Wise immersed himself in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers, economics, and American history. He devoured educational podcasts. He worked at nonprofits advancing conservative ideas. He taught these principles to others.
Then came 2025. Wise attended a candidate-interest meeting and discovered something shocking: nobody was running against 20-year incumbent David Bulova in House District 11. Voters wouldn’t even have a choice.
With prayer and encouragement from local Republican leadership, Adam Wise stepped up. His message is clear: “It’s your money! Keep as much of it as possible!”
Unlike career politicians who view your paycheck as government revenue, Wise believes families earn their money and deserve to keep it. He supports reducing tax burdens on working families, eliminating wasteful government spending, and returning Virginia to constitutional governance.
On social issues, Wise stands with parents: he supports parental consent laws, protecting female sports, prohibiting gender reassignment treatments for minors, and expanding education options for families.
Now, with David Bulova resigning to join Governor-Elect Abigail Spanberger’s cabinet—and Bulova’s wife Gretchen grabbing his seat in a cozy Democrat insider deal—Adam Wise is the only thing standing between HD-11 and more one-party Democrat rule.
The special election is January 13, 2026. Early voting begins January 3rd.
