LISTEN: Srilekha Palle Discusses “Radical” Fairfax Sanctuary Policies

On WMAL’s Larry O’Connor Show, Sully District Supervisor candidate Srilekha Palle discussed the latest example of Fairfax County’s highly controversial “sanctuary” policies.

Yesterday, Fairfax County Police Chief Ed Roessler announced that he “punished” a county police officer, merely for cooperating with ICE.

Roessler’s announcement drew widespread condemnation, including from the Fairfax County Police Association.

Palle made clear that she proudly stands with Fairfax County’s rank-and-file law enforcement officers, drawing a very sharp contrast with her opponent, Kathy Smith.

“Ms. Smith has pledged to double down and make our county even more of a sanctuary by codifying these radical policies into county law,” Palle told O’Connor. “And that is very, very sad.”
