Manga Anantatmula, the Republican nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 11th District, discussed her candidacy on WMAL’s Larry O’Connor Show Friday afternoon. Anantatmula is running to unseat incumbent Democrat Gerry Connolly (“the poster child for term limits,” as O’Connor called him).
Anantatmula blasted Connolly’s “far-left” record, noting that he votes with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 90 percent of the time. “We need to preserve and defend our Constitution, our constitutional rights and our freedoms,” Anantatmula said. “That’s why I came here to the United States from India — not expanding socialism.”
