Clay Percle, who leads the Fairfax GOP’s Election Integrity Team, joined WMAL’s Mornings on the Mall radio program to discuss last weekend’s disenfranchisement of many Republican voters.
With registration deadlines looming for Virginia’s GOP convention, the Department of Elections closed its online Citizens Portal for “scheduled maintenance.” In addition to GOP conventions in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, registrations for local elections in Vienna were similarly affected.
“We know what happened — what we don’t know is why,” Percle said during his WMAL interview. “What we are calling for is a full and transparent third party investigation into this event.”
