Kings Park Celebrates Independence Day with Concert and Candidates

By Michael Albin

Several hundred kids and their parents lined the streets of Kings Park Precinct in Braddock District for the 54th annual Independence Day parade and band concert. After the parade, scouts were on hand to provide the hot dogs and drinks in the shade at the Kings Park Park, while the Kings Park Concert Band played patriotic songs. Our Republican candidates were there too.

Jason Remer, Braddock District candidate for the Board of Supervisors, marched in the parade, zigzagging across the route shaking every hand, and patting every dog. He was accompanied by family members and supported by a sizable group of Republican stalwarts from across the District. Cheryl Buford, running at-large for the School Board, joined the festivities to introduce her campaign to the crowd.

Michael Albin is the Fairfax GOP’s Kings Park Precinct Captain.
