Election Day is Tuesday, November 6, but you may not be able to get to the polls.  In-person absentee voting began on September 21.  Here are some of the 20 reasons you can vote in-person absentee:

• You are an election officer
• You will be traveling on business or vacation on Election Day
• Disability or illness
• You are working and commuting to/from home for 11 or more hours between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Election Day
• Pregnancy
• Religious obligation
• You are a first responder: a member of law enforcement, a fire fighter, an emergency technician, a member of a search and rescue team

Please visit https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/absentee-voting/index.html for a complete list of situations permitting early voting.

Locations in Fairfax County where you may vote early are as follows:

Fairfax County Government Center located at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323, Fairfax, 22035

From September 21-October 12
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am-7:00pm
(Note: closed Monday, October 8, for Columbus Day)

October 15-November 2
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-7:00pm
Saturdays: October 6-November 3: 9:00am-5:00pm
