Indira Massey was born in the Soviet Union and experienced firsthand the oppression of communist rule and the dangers of a one-party state with unchecked government power. After immigrating legally to the United States, she embraced American ideals and earned her citizenship eight years later - becoming an American by choice, not by accident. Indira holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University and a Master's degree in English Language Translation from Princes College. Her professional experience includes working as an entrepreneur in the publishing and advertising industries, where she developed expertise in business development, international relations, and communications. Indira and her husband Peter have lived in the Commonwealth for five years, planting deep roots and making Virginia their home. Together, they believe that shared conservative values can bring a better future for their community and the entire Commonwealth.
