ICYMI: Fairfax GOP Chairman Steve Knotts on WMAL

April 14, 2020 in Education News

Fairfax GOP Chairman Steve Knotts was on WMAL’s Larry O’Connor Show Monday afternoon, to discuss how (and why) Fairfax County Public Schools are bungling distance learning.

In contrast to many school districts and most private schools in the area, Fairfax County Public Schools closed for a month, during which no effort was made to educate children remotely.

Mr. Knotts and Mr. O’Connor discussed how “One Fairfax” notions of “equity” have needlessly hamstrung the district, hurting disadvantaged students the most.
