The Republican State Leadership Committee released a new, hard-hitting ad this week, blasting Hala Ayala’s weakness and touting the resolve of Winsome Sears. “These days, we need a strong leader who runs into the fight — that was Winsome Sears, when she joined the Marines, and built a business,” the ad says. “Politician Hala Ayala? She’s made a career out of backing down.”
The ad says that Hala Ayala’s caucus “pushed to defund the police.” The Democrat nominee for lieutenant governor is also called out for breaking a vow and taking $100,000 from Dominion Energy. Finally, the ad notes that Ayala “refused to speak out” when Joe Biden abandoned our fellow citizens behind enemy lines.
“Give Richmond a backbone,” the ad concludes. “Vote Winsome Sears for Lieutenant Governor.”
