Regrettably, Republicans experienced a major setback in the 2019 state and local elections. While in most cases the county’s 29 GOP candidates received considerably higher vote totals than in previous election cycles, their percentages of total votes decreased as even higher numbers of Democrats turned out to vote.

But with the 2020 presidential election now only 11 months away, this is no time for Republicans to wallow in a blue funk. We must bounce back and provide the support necessary for our bold President and state candidates to win in the fall.

Are you as disgusted as I am with the pathetic and grossly misguided three-year efforts of Congressional Democrats to weaponize the Constitution’s impeachment process to take down a duly elected President whom they don’t like?

Are you alarmed by Virginia Governor Northam and his Democrat cohorts making noises about “consequences” for the 2nd Amendment sanctuary movements that have sprung up in 70 localities across Virginia?

Are you distressed with the bills being brewed for consideration in Virginia’s Democrat-controlled General Assembly that will impose restrictions on gun ownership, raise the gas tax, and saddle us with a cap-and-trade “Transportation and Climate Initiative”?

Are you anxious about possible changes that the 100% Democrat Fairfax County School Board will make to school boundaries, curriculum, school names, and the family life education program?

Are you concerned that the 90% Democrat Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will continue to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from taking custody of jailed illegal aliens, expand the “pilot program” funding legal defenses of illegal aliens, thwart revisions of the county’s unsustainable pension system, and insist on evaluating all county programs through the undefined, foggy, socialist “One Fairfax” lens that emphasizes equal outcomes, not equal opportunity?

Are you worried that Fairfax County’s new, inexperienced, ideologically driven, George Soros-financed Democrat Commonwealth Attorney will pick and choose which state and county laws to enforce and thereby encourage lawlessness?

Fairfax County Republicans MUST continue the FIGHT — vigorously opposing the relentless campaign being waged against President Trump and his America First programs by irrational, emotion-based, rancorous Democrats and their many propaganda-boosting accomplices in the media.
