Fairfax GOP Congratulates Sang Yi

Republican Was Top Vote-Getter in Fairfax City Election

Fairfax GOP Chairman Steve Knotts is hailing Republican Sang Yi’s decisive election to another term on the Fairfax City Council.

“Congratulations to Sang Yi on a stunning victory,” Knotts said Tuesday night. “More votes were cast for Republican Sang Yi than for any other candidate on the ballot in the City of Fairfax.”

Knotts considers Yi’s victory a good harbinger for the GOP. “In the heart of Northern Virginia, Republicans are energized and looking forward to November,” the chairman said.
