There are several districts with no Republican candidate! The Fairfax GOP can still nominate candidates to challenge the Democrat incumbents ruining Virginia and Fairfax County.

Why Your Candidacy Matters

Even in traditionally challenging districts, Republican candidates serve a vital purpose:

• Forcing Democrats to defend their failed policies
• Ensuring voters have a conservative choice on their ballot
• Building party infrastructure for future election cycles
• Identifying conservative voters for future mobilization
• Creating a platform to educate voters on our principles

• District 4: Bailey’s Crossroads & Skyline area, Alexandria City
• District 9: Centreville
• District 10: Springfield, Clifton, Centreville

• District 13: Falls Church
• District 14: Annandale
• District 17: Franconia, Kingstowne, Rose Hill, Alexandria
• District 19: Mt. Vernon, Ft. Belvoir

Who can run for office? You must be:

• A citizen of the United States
• At least twenty-one years of age, or will be on or before the date of the general or special election (November 4, 2025)
• A resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia for the year immediately preceding the election
• Reside in the district
• Registered to vote at that residential address

• Complete the official Statement of Organization form (ELECT-501)
• File a Declaration of Candidacy with the Fairfax GOP
• File certificate of candidate qualification and ethics forms
