As the June 17, 2025 Primary Election approaches, we’re proud to present our exceptional Republican candidates who will champion conservative values and effective governance for Virginia.

Governor

Winsome Earle-Sears – Our current Lieutenant Governor stands ready to lead Virginia as our Republican gubernatorial nominee. With her strong conservative principles and proven leadership, Earle-Sears will fight to protect our freedoms, strengthen our economy, and preserve Virginia’s values.

Note: While State Senator Amanda Chase and Dave LaRock mounted petition efforts for the gubernatorial primary, both failed to submit the required number of signatures to qualify for the ballot.

Lieutenant Governor

Pat Herrity – A dedicated public servant with a record of fiscal responsibility and common-sense leadership.
John Reid – A principled conservative committed to defending our constitutional rights and limited government.

Note: John Curran’s petition effort for Lieutenant Governor also failed to submit the required number of signatures, and he will not appear on the Primary ballot.

Attorney General

Jason Miyares – Our incumbent Attorney General has been a stalwart defender of the rule of law and public safety. His continued leadership will ensure Virginia remains a place where families can thrive.

Answering the Call: How To Become A Republican Candidate

There are still several districts where no Republican has filed, and we have a critical need to ensure conservative values are represented on every ballot in Fairfax County. The nomination window remains open, and the Fairfax GOP is ready to provide full support to principled conservatives willing to step forward.

The Nomination Process

1. DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY

• Complete the official Statement of Organization form (ELECT-501)
• File a Declaration of Candidacy with the Fairfax GOP
• Submit a $500 filing fee (which our donor network may help offset)
• Our experienced team will guide you on requisite paperwork

2. PETITION SIGNATURES

• Collect signatures from registered voters in your district
• Required minimum: 125 valid signatures from your district
• Our volunteer teams can assist with signature gathering
• We provide training on proper petition collection techniques
