Virginia Asian Advisory Board Town Hall

February 18 @ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Town Hall

February 18th from 4:00 – 6:00PM

Fairfax, VA – George Mason University

This Town Hall is a platform under the auspices of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s administration. It promises an enriching opportunity for in-depth dialogue and direct interaction among the Asian community, Northern Virginia leaders, and the VAAB. Your presence and insights would significantly contribute to our collective efforts to address the issues impacting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in our Commonwealth.

The VAAB is dedicated to fostering stronger economic and cultural bonds between Virginia and Asian nations. This year, we continue to focus on pivotal areas such as commerce and trade, art and education, health, and general government matters. Our annual recommendations report, which outlines the challenges facing the AAPI community, will be presented to Governor Youngkin.

We are also honored to announce our guest speakers for the event:

Commissioner Gary Pan, Virginia Department of Labor and Industry

Professor Long Chen, Accounting Area Chair, George Mason University

Mr. Brian Wolford, Chief Deputy Director, Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR)

Dr. Mulpuri Rao, STEM educator and Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Your participation would be invaluable to us, and we encourage you to register at your earliest convenience via the following link: Registration Form. https://form.jotform.com/240353344982155
