School Board Work Session on Family Life Education Curricula Recommendations

May 14, 2018 @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

The community can attend the Board’s Work Session on Monday, May 14, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gatehouse Administration Center (8115 Gatehouse Road, Falls Church, VA 22042) where the Family Life Education Curriculum Advisory Committee (FLECAC) Report of Recommendations will be reviewed.  Attendees can observe – and have a presence – but will not be permitted by the School Board to make comments. The FLECAC recommendations and a summary presentation of them are available here and here.

The FCRC has posted here a dissenting opinion to the FLECAC recommendations prepared by committee members who disagreed with recommendations offered by the majority of FLECAC members.
