Central Absentee Precinct Poll Watcher Training

Learn how the Fairfax County Office of Elections does pre-processing on mailed and drop-box absentee ballots!

Central Absentee Precinct (CAP) Training is required to volunteer at the CAP, which starts October 3 with mailer check-ins. The CAP ballot extractions and ballot scanning is scheduled to start October 26 through noon November 14 for late-arriving absentee ballots.

In-person CAP training at the Fairfax GOP Headquarters, 2-4 p.m., Saturday October 1, 2022
