The Fairfax GOP Is Searching For A Strong Republican Candidate in District 10.
Ready to bring fresh leadership to Virginia's 10th District? Dan Helmer's controversies have created an opportunity for change in 2025.
As we look ahead to the 2025 elections, it’s clear that Democrat Delegate Dan Helmer is more vulnerable than ever, and residents living in Virginia's 10th House District deserve better leadership.
Between Helmer's recent scandals, his failure to put our community first, and his alignment with extreme progressive policies, voters in Virginia’s 10th House District are ready for change.
Our community NEEDS a qualified individual to step up and challenge Helmer for Delegate in the 2025 elections. Are you that person? If so, the Fairfax GOP is ready to help!
Why Helmer Can Be Defeated in 2025:
-
Sexual Misconduct Allegations: In June 2024, a Democratic Party official accused Helmer of groping her and making sexually explicit remarks during his 2018 campaign. These allegations led to calls from top Democrats and organizations like the National Organization for Women (NOW) for Helmer to drop out of his congressional race. Despite his denial, the scandal severely damaged his reputation.
-
Rejected by His Own Party: In the 2024 Democratic primary for Congress, voters overwhelmingly rejected Helmer, with State Senator Suhas Subramanyam defeating him despite Helmer's massive financial backing. His inability to gain the trust of Democratic voters is a clear sign that even his own base is losing faith in him.
-
Deceptive Campaign Practices: Helmer has a history of misleading voters. In 2023, he sent campaign mailers implying he was already the Delegate for areas he did not yet represent, causing confusion among residents.
-
Far-Left Voting Record: Helmer has consistently supported soft-on-crime policies, reckless spending, and partisan legislation that hurts families and small businesses in Fairfax County.
-
Voter Fatigue & Opportunism: Rather than focusing on serving his constituents, Helmer tried to leapfrog into Congress right after his re-election to the House of Delegates. His blatant political ambition is alienating voters who want a leader committed to their needs—not his career.
Now Is the Time to Step Up
With Helmer weakened by scandal, a failed congressional bid, and growing frustration from voters, 2025 is the perfect opportunity to take back the 10th District. Our community needs a representative who will prioritize public safety, lower taxes, and quality education—not self-promotion and political games.
If you or someone you know has considered running, now is the time. With the right candidate and support, we can defeat Helmer and restore common-sense leadership to the 10th District.
