A member of the School Board since 2011, Ms. Schultz has taken the lead on the School Board in promoting fiscal responsibility, parental involvement in education decisions and practices, reasonable class sizes, reform of the family life education (FLE) curriculum, and school safety within the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).

Ms. Schultz will speak on the following topics:
·       FCPS school safety
·       FCPS Family Life Education (FLE) program
·       FCPS school name changes – update

Ms. Schultz is a twice-elected Fairfax County School Board Member for the nation’s 10th largest school district, responsible for a $3 billion annual budget, 189,000+ students hailing from over 200 countries and 40,000 full and part-time employees.

She was awarded the STAND Award from Bishop E.W. Jackson’s National Awakening Conference and the Courage in Leadership Award of the Year from Virginia Christian Alliance. She holds a B.S. in political science and history from James Madison University.

She has been married to her husband Brian for 26 years, is the mother of four sons who range from college graduate to elementary school-age, and resides in Clifton, Virginia.

In his Chair Report, Tim Hannigan will review the plan for restructuring the FCRC in pursuit of unifying and growing the Republican Party in quest of achieving Republican wins in Fairfax County.
