Dear Fairfax GOP Family,

As we gather with our loved ones this Thanksgiving, I wanted to share with you a few of the things I am grateful for this year.

I am grateful for the marriage of our son to a wonderful woman.

I am grateful that I was born in America. That I am free. That I am safe. That I have a roof over my head, food on the table, and my health and the health of those I love.

I am very grateful that Donald Trump is our president and that he is boldly getting our country back on track.

I am deeply, deeply grateful that God found me and granted me grace beyond my deserving.

I am thankful for every one of you. In a year that brought a lot of hard work and a lot of heartbreak, you never wavered. You knocked on doors, made phone calls, and stood up for conservative principles when it would have been easier to stay silent. Your dedication reminds me daily that we are stronger because we are together.

While November 4th didn’t bring the statewide results we hoped for, I’m grateful for the opportunity democracy provides us. Yes, Abigail Spanberger, Ghazala Hashmi, and Jay Jones will take office in January. But our God-given right to speak up means we can hold them accountable from day one. Every tax increase, every assault on parental rights, every policy that puts extreme ideology ahead of common-sense governance – we’ll be there, fighting for Virginia families.

I’m also thankful for the opportunity ahead of us to elect Ken Balbuena as our next Braddock District Supervisor. This special election gives us a chance to send a strong conservative voice to the Board of Supervisors, someone who will stand up for fiscal responsibility and our communities’ values. Ken represents the future of our party in Fairfax County, and I’m grateful for his willingness to serve.

We have so much to be thankful for at the national level. President Trump’s leadership has delivered real results for American families. Inflation has dropped to just 2.7% (compared to an average annual rate of 4.95% under Biden), and prices for everyday essentials like eggs, butter, groceries, and gas keep coming down.

For the first time in four years, our southern border is secure, and overdose deaths are declining significantly (with Virginia at the top of the list for greatest decrease in overdose deaths). The President’s diplomatic efforts have brought historic breakthroughs in the Middle East, with hostages coming home and real prospects for peace in Ukraine.

These achievements remind us that conservative leadership works. Strong borders save lives. Lower taxes help families thrive. Peace through strength protects our children’s future.

But what I’m most grateful for is something that can’t be measured in election results or policy victories – it’s the spirit of this movement. In coffee shops and community centers, at school board meetings and neighborhood gatherings, I see patriots who refuse to give up on the American dream. We are the backbone of our republic, and as long as we are unwilling to walk away from the fight, I have faith that America will prevail.

This Thanksgiving, as you bow your heads in prayer, know that I’m thankful for you. For your sacrifices, your principles, and your unwavering belief that Virginia’s best days are ahead of us.

The road ahead may be challenging, but we face it together. We’ll support Ken Balbuena’s campaign with everything we have. We’ll be the loyal opposition in Richmond, ensuring that Governor-elect Spanberger and her administration never forget that they work for all Virginians, not just their radical base. And we’ll continue building a movement that puts families first, defends parental rights, and champions the values that make Virginia great.
