38-year-old faces murder charge in deadly Bailey’s Crossroads stabbing

A 38-year-old man is facing a second-degree murder charge in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred Sunday in the Bailey’s Crossroads area of Fairfax County, Virginia.

The accused is Anibal Armando Chavarria Muy, 38. According to the Fairfax County Police Department, officers responded around 8:56 p.m. to the 6000 block of Bellview Drive, where they discovered a man who had sustained multiple stab wounds to the upper body inside a residence. First responders attempted life-saving measures before fire rescue personnel transported him to a hospital, where he subsequently died.

Police located Muy in a vehicle at the 11000 block of James Swart Circle and took him into custody. He remains in custody without bond. Authorities confirmed that Muy and the victim knew each other prior to the incident.
