Standing Strong: Our Path Forward After Election Night

It’s impossible not to feel disappointed today. Democrats swept Virginia’s statewide races on Tuesday. It’s hard to believe so many Virginians voted for a man who wishes his political colleagues dead, indeed who wishes the children of his political colleagues dead. How do we wake up and keep going when we know that is what our neighbors and colleagues voted for?  It is disheartening, to say the least.

But disappointment is not defeat, and setbacks do not end our mission.

As Rush Limbaugh once said, “It’s never time to panic. It’s never, ever going to be time to give up on our country.” Those words ring true today more than ever.

Gratitude for Our Team

Before we look ahead, let us recognize the extraordinary efforts of so many who gave their all to this campaign:

To our statewide candidates—Winsome, Jason, and John—thank you for your courage, dedication, and tireless work representing our values across the Commonwealth.

To our House of Delegates candidates who stepped forward to serve: Kristin Hoffman, Cass Aucoin, Indira Massey, Nhan Huynh, David Guill, Adam Wise, Nelson Figueroa, Sylvia Oleksy, Eric Johnson, Saundra Davis, Richard Hayden, Naomi Mesfin, and Ed McGovern—you deserve tremendous credit for putting yourselves on the line for Virginia.

To our volunteers, donors, pollwatchers, and election officers—you are the backbone of our movement. Every door knocked, every dollar contributed, every hour served made a difference.

Our Fairfax GOP team worked tirelessly behind the scenes: coordinating volunteers throughout the county, reaching tens of thousands of voters via text, email and social media, keeping operations running smoothly, managing our office with discipline and efficiency, and ensuring sound financial stewardship. We could not have done this without you.

Our Commitment Moving Forward

We will not abandon our principles. The America First agenda—securing our borders, supporting law enforcement, defending parental rights, and promoting economic opportunity—remains the right path for Virginia and our nation.

Starting today, we will hold Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger and every Democrat elected last night accountable. We will be vigilant watchdogs for the taxpayers and families of Virginia. When their policies fail our communities, we will speak up. When they break their promises, we will remind voters.

The Fight Continues

We have an immediate opportunity to win: Ken Balbuena is running for Braddock District Supervisor. This is a race we can win, and Ken represents the common-sense leadership Fairfax County needs. Visit KenForBraddock.com.

Rush Limbaugh also said, “We’re not quitting. We are not giving up. The country is too important.” He was right. We have each other in this fight, and none of us stands alone.

The work continues. Let’s get to it.
