Kirk, 31, was a prominent voice on the American right, reaching millions through his daily talk show, speaking engagements, and active presence on social media. He rose to national recognition by hosting debates on college campuses, engaging students directly on political issues, and became a leading figure in conservative activism.

In recent years, Kirk developed a close relationship with President Trump and was a frequent presence at Mar-a-Lago. His work with Turning Point USA made him a central figure for many young conservatives and an influential presence in shaping political discourse.

Wednesday’s event was hosted by Utah Valley University’s Turning Point chapter in Orem, Utah, just north of Provo. As of this writing, the suspect has not been apprehended.
