Photo: Fairfax County resident argues that responsible gun ownership saves lives
Virginia Senator Dave Marsden (D-37) was on WMAL’s “Mornings on the Mall” radio program yesterday, to discuss his “hot mic” comments from Saturday, wherein he derided 2nd Amendment supporters as “little kids” who should be ignored.
During yesterday’s interview, WMAL co-host Mary Walter read from an email Marsden wrote to a constituent, in which the senator claimed that “too many of your members and other 2A supporters appear to have mental health issues.”
Senator Marsden defended his comments, citing vulgar emails and phone calls that he received from constituents.
