Arthur Purves
Arthur is the President of the Fairfax County Taxpayers Alliance, a non-profit watchdog organization that monitors the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and Fairfax County Public Schools. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge on those two local government entities and their respective budgets.
His topic will be “Stop the Meals Tax”.
Daniel Brubaker
Dan is a resident of Loudoun County and has master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Religious Studies from Rice University. He is a post-doctoral researcher in early Quran manuscripts and a university professor in Quran and early Islamic history at two accredited Christian graduate institutions.
He is the author of three books: 2019: Corrections in Early Qur’an Manuscripts: Twenty Examples; 2022: By the People? – The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election and Theft of Americans’ Right to Self Rule; and, 2024: What’s Wrong With Socialism? – A Biblical Investigation for Everyone.
Dan will highlight the issues surrounding the 2020 election revealed in his second book, and introduce his latest book about socialism from a biblical perspective.
