Early Voting Starts THIS FRIDAY – Make A Plan To Vote!

Fairfax County Republicans, it’s time to get ready for the 2024 Presidential General Election! Early voting is about to begin, and every vote counts. This is your chance to cast your ballot for President Donald Trump, Hung Cao for U.S. Senate, and for Mike Clancy, Jerry Torres, and Mike Van Meter in the 8th, 10th, and 11th Congressional Districts respectively. 

Before you head to the polls, be sure to check out the Fairfax GOP Voter Info Tool. This helpful tool provides you with a Republican Sample Ballot 100% customized to your local polling place. It’s a great way to see which Republican candidates are on your ballot, making sure you’re fully informed when you vote. Click here to access the tool.

Why Vote Early?  

Early voting makes it easier for everyone to get to the polls. You can avoid the long lines on Election Day, and it’s a convenient way to ensure that your vote is cast. If you have a busy schedule or just want to get it done ahead of time, early voting is a great option.

When and Where Can You Vote Early?  

Early voting starts on September 20th, 2024, and runs through November 2nd, 2024. Here are three locations in Fairfax County where you can cast your early ballot:

Fairfax County Government Center  

   12000 Government Center Pkwy, Rm 251, Fairfax, VA 22035  

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm  
  • Saturdays: 9/21, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  
  • Sunday, 10/27: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Mount Vernon Governmental Center  

   2511 Parkers Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306  

  • Monday to Friday: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm  
  • Saturdays: 9/21, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  
  • Sunday, 10/27: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

North County Governmental Center  

   1801 Cameron Glen Drive, Reston, VA 20190  

  • Monday to Friday: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm  
  • Saturdays: 9/21, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  
  • Sunday, 10/27: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Election Calendar  

  • September 20th – Early voting opens at three main locations  
  • October 15th – Deadline to register to vote (10/16–11/2 “same-day” registration with provisional ballot)  
  • October 17th – Thirteen additional Early Voting centers open  
  • October 25th – Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot  
  • November 2nd – Early voting ends  
  • November 5th – Election Day: All voters must vote at their assigned precinct poll. Polls are open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.
