The Fairfax County Republican Committee (FCRC) operates on a 2-year term cycle.

All existing Members need to apply for renewal for the new 2022-2024 term.

If you would like to RENEW or APPLY for membership through the 2022 Convention Process, you MUST file your Membership Application ON OR BEFORE the FCRC Convention filing deadline of 12:00 PM, noon on Saturday, February 26th.

If you file to be a Member of the FCRC AFTER 12PM, Noon on Saturday, February 26th, then eligible filers (applicants) will be nominated at the next regularly scheduled General Membership Meeting, tentatively scheduled for April, 2022.

Membership Applications are otherwise normally accepted at any time, and the process involves your nomination for membership at the next available General Membership Meeting, followed by a vote at the subsequent General Membership Meeting. The normal process takes 2 months.

There are two types of membership:

Voting Member

General Membership Meeting attendance is required. If three consecutive, official meetings are missed, a member loses their committee voting privileges.

Supports the official, endorsed candidates of the Republican Party.

Volunteers in support of precinct operations and “get out the vote” efforts.

Votes on intra-party business.

Associate Member

No meeting attendance requirement.

Supports the official, endorsed candidates of the Republican Party.

Volunteers in support of precinct operations and “get out the vote” efforts.

Eligibility:

• You must live in Fairfax County, and be a registered voter in Fairfax County. Please note that Fairfax City and Falls Church City have separate Republican Committees.
• You MUST be willing to pledge support for the Republican Party slate of candidates.
