Ying Ma, author of Chinese Girl in the Ghetto, joined the Fairfax GOP live on Facebook earlier this month, to discuss how to defeat the identity politics of the “woke” Left.

As communications director for the successful Vote No on Prop 16 campaign, Ma was instrumental in defeating the Left’s bid to revive race-based “affirmative action” in the Golden State.

In her conversation with the Fairfax GOP’s Srilekha Palle and Vinson Palathingal, Ma stressed the need to defend America from the Left’s attacks on the nation’s fundamental values. “Our ideals depend on refuting a lot of the accusations against this country,” Ma said.

While the Left is fixated on “equity,” Ma advocates the moral standard of “equal treatment for everybody, not special treatment for some.”
