The Virginia General Assembly begins January 8, 2020. The proposed legislation related to our gun rights is alarming. The new majority has proposed legislation that will impose buying restrictions, usage restrictions in a private setting, and legal actions that could be enforced on law abiding citizens because someone feels “intimidated.” These are not “common sense safety measures.” These are laws that violate our basic right of self-defense.
