At last, some good news from Richmond: the Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee voted down House Bill 961, in a 10 to 5 vote. The bill, if enacted, would have banned many commonly-owned firearms.

The Fairfax GOP chartered a bus to join them — on the ride home, Fairfax GOP Chairman Tim Hannigan shared his thoughts with WMAL’s Larry O’Connor. “It was an absolute great event today,” Mr. Hannigan said. “It was akin to a Trump rally; and it was that exciting for the people there.”
